The people I like to hear good things about my artwork the most is my family. I guess its because my art means everything to me and so do my family so it goes hand in hand. When they like it I get really happy. When they don't say anything or show no appreciation to it I get really offended and sad. Sometimes ill be drawing something right in front of them that I think looks awesome and they don't say anything, when they clearly see it.. i dont know it just upsets me. I was drawing a picture of someone for friend. So far I am super proud of it and think its the best pencil drawn portrait ive done. My brother and my mother looked at and the first thing they said was eww thats an ugly person why are you drawing them, I said I was drawing it for a friend because they wanted me me too. And then that was it. No good job, no that looks awesome, nothing. I was expecting them to give me some positive feedback because it looks good, they just went on talking about how ugly the person is..I could care less if they think that he's ugly its the fact that they didn't acknowledge my hard work that upsets me..whatever..im used to the feeling.
